Draft and Moisture Reduction
This self-adhesive strip is designed to form a continuous barrier along the bottom and sides of doors and windows to help limit drafts and slow moisture entry. Its flexible polymer edge compresses against the frame to reduce the movement of air while helping keep small amounts of water from seeping through gaps. The strip is ideal for slowing heat loss in cooler months and reducing the feeling of drafts near floors and thresholds. When applied correctly, it creates a neater seal that improves indoor comfort without changing the operation of the door.
Flexible Fit for Varied Gaps
The profile is engineered to conform to uneven surfaces and slight irregularities so it adapts to most door and window shapes. It can be trimmed to the precise length you need and shaped to follow curves or slight misalignments for a tailored fit. The material compresses under normal door movement so it seals without adding friction or preventing closing. This adaptability makes it suitable for older frames as well as modern installations where gaps vary along the edge.
Transparent Finish for Invisible Protection
The clear construction blends with glass, painted wood, and metal finishes so the seal remains unobtrusive while performing its job. Its low-profile appearance keeps sightlines and décor intact, making it a good choice for rooms where discreet details matter. The peel-and-stick backing simplifies installation and leaves a smooth edge that is easy to clean with a damp cloth. Designed to be practical and visually subtle, the strip helps maintain a polished look around doors and windows.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is this suitable for exterior doors?
The strip is designed primarily for indoor use on doors and windows. It may be used on sheltered exterior doors such as back porches, but exposure to prolonged weather can reduce adhesive performance, so regular inspection is recommended.
Q: How do I install the strip?
Clean the installation area thoroughly and allow it to dry, measure and trim the strip to length, peel away the liner, and press the adhesive firmly along the edge. Apply even pressure along the full length to ensure good contact with the surface.
Q: Can I trim the strip to fit different door sizes?
Yes. The material cuts easily with scissors or a utility knife so you can customize the length and shape to match irregular frames and corners for a neat fit.
Q: How should I maintain or clean the seal?
Wipe the strip with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and dirt and avoid abrasive cleaners that could haze the surface. Periodically check the adhesive bond and press any areas that have lifted to restore contact.
