The chair requires assembly before use. At 86 lbs it is manageable for two adults, and considerably easier to handle than a reformer. Install it on a flat, stable indoor surface with clear space around it for standing and stepping work.

Before your first session, check that all bolts and fittings are secure, that the handles are locked at your chosen height, and that every spring — including the lower spring system and the mini springs — is correctly seated on its hook. Re-check the spring hooks and handle fixings regularly: chair work loads them through a single point, often with your full body weight, so a loose fitting matters more here than on a reformer. Keep children and pets away during assembly and adjustment.

Delivery does not include assembly, installation or in-home setup.

Care: Wipe the upholstery after each session with a soft, slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Clean the wood frame with a dry or lightly damp microfibre cloth, avoiding excess water, abrasive cleaners, bleach and solvents. Inspect all eight springs, the hooks, handles, pedal mechanism and stainless steel fittings regularly, and stop using the chair if any component appears worn or damaged. Store and use indoors in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight, heaters and excessive humidity.

This chair ships by insured freight carrier with curbside delivery. The carrier delivers to your curb or driveway; in-home placement, stair carry, unpacking and assembly are not included. At 86 lbs it is far easier to move indoors than a reformer, but plan for a second pair of hands on delivery day.

For eligible international orders, duties, import taxes, customs fees and VAT are included in the total shown at checkout — nothing further to pay on delivery.

Returns: 30 days from delivery. Eligible returns are free — we provide a prepaid label or arrange carrier collection, with no restocking fee and no return-processing fee. The chair must be unused, complete with all accessories, and returned in its original protective packaging, so please keep the box until you are satisfied with your order. This chair is covered by Reformesa’s standard equipment warranty against manufacturing defects under normal home use.

Not covered: misuse, improper assembly, normal wear and tear, unauthorized modification or repair, and cosmetic wear that doesn’t affect function. Commercial, rental or studio use requires written confirmation from us before purchase.
