Use & Care
Unfold on a flat, level floor and confirm the hinges have locked flat before you put weight on the platform. Keep fingers clear of the hinge line when folding and unfolding.
Care: Wipe the PU leather with a soft, slightly damp cloth and mild soap after each session, then dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners, bleach and solvents, which mark PU permanently. Check the steel hinges and fixings periodically and stop using the mat if a hinge is loose or the foam has lost its support. Store folded, indoors, away from damp and direct sunlight.

How is this different from a normal Pilates mat?
A normal mat is a layer of foam on your floor. This is a reinforced plywood platform with high-density cushioning, integrated moon boxes and padded grip handles. That means it supports the full mat-and-apparatus repertoire — roll-downs, leg circles, the hundred, supported stretching — with a stability that a thin mat cannot provide.
What are the moon boxes for?
They are the raised shaped sections integrated into the platform. You use them for supported bridging, stretching and alignment drills — positions where you want part of the body elevated and held rather than flat on the floor.
How does it store?
It folds flat on steel hinges, so it stands against a wall or slides into a cupboard between sessions. Keep fingers clear of the hinge line when folding, and confirm the hinges have locked flat before putting weight on the platform.
