Place it on a flat, stable indoor surface with clear space around it, particularly at the head end where you will extend back over the curve.

Work into the extension gradually rather than dropping into it, and use your hands on the frame to control the return. If you have a back condition or are recovering from injury, check with your physiotherapist or doctor before starting extension work.

Care: Wipe the cushioned surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth and mild soap after each session, then dry thoroughly. Clean the maple with a dry or lightly damp microfibre cloth, avoiding excess water, abrasive cleaners, bleach and solvents. Inspect the frame, padding and seams regularly and stop using it if any component appears damaged. Store indoors in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight and heat — maple is a natural material and can be marked by prolonged damp.
